Issue Description

This issue usually occurs when connecting xTool P2 with extension accessories, such as RA2 and the automatic conveyor feeder.

If the machine is connected to XCS, you may see a pop-up error message like below.

Note:

For the video tutorial on removing the casing of P2, refer to the following article:

#1 Check the Cable

  1. Restart P2, and connect P2 with the connection cable of the accessory alone (the other end is not connected to the accessory).
  2. If the error is reported when P2 is only connected with the cable, the cable is faulty and needs replacement.

#2 Check the Motor

  1. Restart P2 and connect P2 with the cable only (the other end is not connected to the accessory).
  2. If XCS does not report the error, connect the other end to the accessory.
  3. If the error is reported only when connecting to the accessory, the motor of the accessory is faulty and needs replacement.

#3 Check the Extension Cable

  1. Remove the connection cable of the accessory and restart P2.
  2. If the error message still occurs, remove the left plate by referring to the video tutorial in the note.
  3. Unplug the extension cable on the main control board as shown below and restart P2 for another try.
  4. If no error is reported, the extension cable is faulty and needs replacement.

#4 Check the Main Control Board

  1. Remove the left plate of P2 by referring to the video tutorial in the note.
  2. Unplug the connection cable of the extension port on the main control board and restart P2.
  3. If XCS still reports the error, the main control board is faulty and needs replacement.
