How to Maintain M1
Guide Rail and Bearing Maintenance
The guide rails are chrome-plated shafts, and the bearings are made of bearing steel.
You need to apply grease or lubricant to them regularly to prevent rust and help the machine work properly.
-
If you use M1 for more than 8 hours per day, apply grease to guide rails and bearings once every 15 days.
-
If you use M1 for no more than 2 hours per day, apply grease to guide rails and bearings once every 2 months.
-
Spray a small amount of WD40 on the guide rail or bearing to maintain it.
Note
-
Before maintenance, clean the dirt and impurities from the surface of the drive shaft.
-
During maintenance, spread evenly the grease, wipe off excess grease, and make sure the drive shaft is clean and free of impurities.
-
After maintenance, manually move the laser module to ensure it is working properly.
Maintenance of Other Parts
-
During processing, smoke and dust will be generated, and some may adhere to different parts of the device. Therefore, routine maintenance is required for the device.
-
Power off the device, and use a dry cotton cloth to gently wipe the dirty parts. If a non-electronic part such as the camera or laser module lens is difficult to clean, wipe it with a cloth moistened with a little alcohol.
