How Network Disconnection Affects Machine Processing

    Issue Description

    When you use XCS to process something, you may find some functions unavailable if your computer is not connected to the internet.
    There are two cases that might occur:

    1. When you try to update XCS software, it shows "Checking for Updates Failed".

    1. When you update software in developer mode, you may find the firmware information isn't shown in the "Latest firmware".

    The above cases are related to network connection failures. If your computer is disconnected from the internet, or the firewalls on your computer and router block access to a Chinese IP address when the internet is connected, you may find the above issues occur.
    To solve this issue, please ensure your computer is connected to the internet and check the firewall settings.
