Troubleshooting XCS Error Code Qx05 2 for Laserbox

Issue description

Error Code 'Qx05 2': Low-Pressure Purifier not Connected.

The Qx05 2 error code indicates that the low-pressure version of the purifier is not connected. If you see a pop-up notification with this error code, please refer to the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

#1 Check the Firmware Version

Connect the machine and check if the firmware is up-to-date in XCS. The computer should be connected to the Internet.
  • If not, contact customer support for advice.
  • If yes, please move on to the next step.

 

#2 Check the Purifier Version

Check if you have purchased the purifier below.
  • If not, please connect the machine with the software, refer to the picture below to disable the purifier check in the device settings.
  • If yes, please move on to the next step.
Please connect the machine with the software, refer to the picture below to disable the purifier check in the device settings, and then start processing.
 
 

#3 Check the Purifier Connection

  • Make sure the smoke exhaust pipe is installed properly.
  • The pipe from the machine is connected to the upper inlet of the air purifier.
  • The pipe is intact and not bent or obstructed.
  • If the issue persists, please move on to the next step.
 

#4 Check the Filter Cartridge

Remove the filter cartridge from the purifier and start processing again. Observe if the error code shows up.
  • If not, the filter cartridge may be clogged. Please replace the filter cartridge.
  • If yes, please move on to the next step.

#5 Disable the Purifier Check

Please connect the machine with the software, refer to the picture below to disable the purifier check in the device settings, and then start processing.
 
 
Observe if the error code shows up. If not, maybe the motor of the purifier is faulty. Please replace the motor or the purifier to check again.
 
If yes, maybe the Y1 circuit board or the motherboard is faulty Please read the article in the link below, collect the troubleshooting steps you have taken, and contact xTool tech support for further advice.
