Issue Description

Error Code 'Qx01 1': Water Tank Temperature Too High

The Qx01 1 error code indicates that the temperature of the water tank is too high. If you see a pop-up notification with this error code, please refer to the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

#1 Check the Firmware Version

  • Connect the machine with the software
  • Check if the machine firmware is the latest version (40.15.022.01.ht1).
  • If not, contact xTool tech support for advice.
  • If yes, please move on to the next step.

#2 Cool Down the Machine Naturally

  • The firmware should be the latest version.
  • Turn off the machine for a while and then restart it (maybe the machine has been working at high power for a long time and the temperature of the water tank is too high.)
  • Restart the machine and see if the system still gives the error code.
  • If yes, please move on to the next step.

#3 Increase the Distance between the Purifier and the Machine

  • If the purifier is close to the machine, the air inlet of the exhaust fan may be clogged.
  • Then the efficiency of air exhaust is reduced, and the water temperature couldn’t be lowered in time.
  • All of it leads to mutual heating between the purifier and the main frame, and the surrounding temperature goes higher.
  • Check if the right side of the purifier is too close to the left side of the machine.
  • Try to increase the distance between them and see if the issue is resolved.
  • If not, please move on to the next step.

#4 Check the Temperature Sensor Wiring

  • Turn off the machine and refer to this video to remove the upper left cover.
  • Unplug and replug the temperature sensor wire (circled in the picture below).
  • Put the cover back and see if the issue is resolved.
  • If not, please move on to the next step.
