D1 Pro with all laser modules.

Issue Description

When you have processed the material once, and you make the laser module home, then if you run a second process with the exact same design file and position, the second engraving may not fit the first one 100%, causing a double image. If so, please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot.

Check the Cable Route

If the laser module connection cable is routed from the back of the X-axis gantry to the laser module, the module could get slightly bounced off when it reaches the home position, causing a difference in the starting positions of the two processings, hence the double image.
  1. Unplug the laser module connection cable.
  2. Reroute the cable to make it stay away from the back of the gantry.
  3. You can refer to the below photos to adjust the cable route.
