Smoke Purifier
Issue Description
When you turn on the purifier, if the power indicator lights up normally and then it shuts down or restarts shortly, please refer to this article for troubleshooting.
#1 Check the Air Filter
If the filter reaches its maximum filtering capacity, it won't be able to catch the fume particles. They will reach and block the air inlet, causing the motor to overload. As a result, the purifier shuts down to avoid damage.
Please follow these steps to check the filter.
-
When the purifier is off, take the filter off the purifier.
-
Turn on the machine and turn the knob slowly to increase the airflow.
-
Check if the motor works better and if the machine is back to normal.
-
If so, it could be the filter is at the end of its lifespan. It needs to be replaced.
#2 Check the Fan Motor
If the motor gets rusty, the rotary resistance increases. This will also lead to an overload of the motor, and the purifier has to shut itself down to avoid damage.
Please follow these steps to check the motor.
-
When the purifier is off, take the filter off the purifier.
-
Use a screwdriver or a similar tool to poke the fan blades and check if the motor can rotate smoothly.
-
If it gets stuck or you feel strong resistance, the inner parts of the motor may be rusty. Please contact tech support for advice.
