Issue Description

Framing is a function where the laser module moves around to you a preview of the processing area on the material. You can start a framing process on the preview page on XCS. If your machine won't frame, this article can help you troubleshoot the issue. Please follow the instructions below.

  1. Click on the Settings button on the top left corner of the XCS window
  2. Go to General -> Software update. See if it's the latest version.
  3. Please update the software to the latest version.
  4. If the issue persists, move on to the next step.

#2 Check Firmware Version

  2. See if it flashes after you click on the Frame button on XCS.
  3. If yes, short press the Start button (no longer than 2 seconds).
  4. If the indicator doesn't flash or pressing the button doesn't work, move on to the next step.

#4 Check Connection Method

  1. If you are using Wi-Fi, then change to USB, and vice versa.
